In this theoretical-practical course you will understand the principles of the Craniofacial Superimposition technique, its history and developments. You will learn how to position anatomical landmarks and you will understand the different problems you may face in the application of this technique and how to solve them. You will also become familiar with the Skeleton-ID software, with which you will put into practice everything you have learnt.

With this training you will understand (in addition to all the contents of the course “Craniofacial Superimposition Crash Course”) the anatomy of the craniofacial complex and the relationships between the skull and the face. You will learn the criteria with which experts study these relationships and you will analyze correspondences on real cases with the Skeleton-ID software. You will solve cases using the craniofacial superimposition technique from start to finish, making decisions and familiarizing yourself with the expert reports. Finally, you will understand the latest advances in standardization and validation of the technique and the challenges ahead.
